Diamond Jubilee Festival - Battersea Park

Wow what an incredible long weekend! It's been four long days of Jubilations (preceded by several weeks of planning) and I'm absolutely shattered. Whilst I recharge my batteries here are a few snaps from Sunday's Diamond Jubilee Festival in Battersea Park. The rain got the better of us in the end but we managed to catch a glimpse of the Queen on the flotilla.

I remember Carters Steam Fair from village fetes when I was small. They have such lovely old fashioned rides. Luckily this time I managed to resist the urge for a cider fulled bout on the bumper cars.

The Irish boys, not such big fans of the Queen!

A bit of fence climbing got us a great view of the river!

You can't really tell here but that tiny white rectangle towards the back of the barge is the Queen!
