Oh hasn't this week been gorgeous? This unexpected Indian Summer is very welcome round my way - it's given me a little bit of breathing space to get my head around the fact that not only is it September, but very nearly the end of September! It might as well be October.
I love watching the seasons change and round about this time of year my focus shifts from the world outside to what's going on within these four walls (and several other, sub-dividing walls obviously). I've been thinking a lot about knitting lately and sewing. Mainly things for the home - I'm really looking forward to getting to grips with the decor of our flat. Have we really been here a year? I swear we have more rooms filled with boxes than when we started!
Here's something from my archive - I knitted these oranges a few years ago, to be sold in the beautiful Tobias and the Angel in Barnes. If you're anywhere in the area you must go - it's the stuff interior design dreams are made of (mine at least).
I've been thinking about these oranges a lot lately, I'm half tempted to make another bowl full for myself. What do you think?
