Remember Remember The Fifth Of November

This evening Ciaran and checked out our local fireworks display! We weren't planning on going right inside, mainly because it cost money but also because we thought it would be really crowded and take forever to get out again. In the end we did go in and it was so worth it! The fireworks were mental and went on and on. I took a load of photos which obviously don't do them justice at all but I'm looking forward to sharing later in the week none the less. Once we had watched the display and checked out the bonfire we headed to our local pub, Marney's Inn. We arrived just in time! They had really gone to town and put on a brilliant show with rocket after enormous rocket shooting out of the beer garden into the sky at jaunty angles. I had my first mulled wine of the year also and we ate hot dogs made with big Cumberland sausages and onions. Ciaran had bought me some sparklers so we ran about with those in the front garden and now I'm exhausted and off to bed! I can't believe this time last year it was our final night in Clapham before we moved house! This last year has absolutely gone in the blink of an eye!
