Twas the week before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring not even Toby who's currently curled up in his favourite spot (on a blanket on the dining table). I visited the florist last weekend and bought lots of those cheapy cheap white filler flowers - baby's breath or whatever, along with some beloved wax flowers and berry branches. They're currently distributed around the flat in vases and lend a soft, dreamy quality to the place (or so I like to think).
How are your Christmas preparations coming along? I've got a few final errands to run, a flat to tidy and a bulging sackload of presents to wrap (we have 10 nieces and nephews, and that's just on Ciaran's side...) this week and then it's leggings and Quality Street time! I hope you have a wonderful week - let's keep our fingers crossed for some snow eh?
