Tilly And The Buttons - Coco

I've been following Tilly Walnes' lovely blog Tilly And The Buttons with interest for some time now and am so pleased to finally get my hands on the much anticipated Coco sewing pattern!

Coco is a lovely jubbley nautical but nice pattern for a dress, tunic or top - I love how versatile the design is! I'm going to start with a classic Breton striped dress but am also itching to make a plain version with contrasting patch pockets! I picked up my stripy fabric at The Cloth House in Berwick Street yesterday - they've got some truly marvelous stuff including every shade of cotton jersey under the sun as well as luxurious wool/cashmere blends and even some fantastic organic cotton sweater material (which may or may not be next on my list!).

Tilly's blog is a great resource for sewing hints and tips and right now she's walking us through making the Coco pattern step by step so if you needed any extra encouragement to give it a try for yourself, hop over and take a peek!
