Stone Cold Comfort is a craft and lifestyle blog based in Surrey, England.
Want to know how to sew a Liberty print hair scrunchie, decorate your Christmas tree on a shoe string or make a festival flower crown? You've come to the right place. If it's a recipe for strawberry cake, dark chocolate bark or hot apple cider you're after, I've got that covered too. As well as DIY tutorials and recipes, on Stone Cold Comfort you'll find fun ideas and inspiration on everything from cake decorating to knitting, sewing to jam making, home decor to home brewing - everything a modern home maker needs!
My name is Chloe Mullaney, I'm 30 and I live with my husband, baby daughter and our sweet cat Toby (who you'll see sticking his little nose into my pictures from time to time). I love rummaging through car boot sales, charity shops and flea markets for one of a kind treasures to fill my home with. In the Summer months you can usually find my sleeping below canvas somewhere in the sunny south of England and in the Winter months, curled up in front of the fire with my knitting needles. I love sharing my inspiration and travel adventures here on my blog!
When I'm not sitting at my sewing machine, curled up on the sofa with a good book or kicking through the leaves on a camping trip I can usually be found in my kitchen, making celebration cakes to order for my cake company Chloë Bakes Cakes. I bake using the very best, organic ingredients and never use artificial colours or flavours. For more information or to order a cake, take a peek at the Chloë Bakes Cakes website, Facebook page, Tweet me @Chloe_Bakes or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
